EXTERIORS TO BE PAINTED (posted 5/14/18)
TO ALL RESIDENTS: The Summertree Village Homeowners Association (HOA) has contracted to have our building exteriors painted. Watch for postings for your building’s schedule. When you get the notice, please move or remove anything from your front porch or patio area that will limit the painters access to your wall and fascia. They will be as careful as possible, but accidents can happen; if you have fragile or important plants or decorations, protect them.
Inside Units: painters will be entering your patios. Contact Property Management Company (909-444-7655) if you DO NOT want your interior garage door painted.
End Units: make sure patio gates are unlocked.
Additionally, painters will need access to your front doors. Watch progress and be prepared to unlock security/screen doors.
Please check for any wood repair to patio covers and gates. If your front door or side garage door needs replacing, this is a good time to do it. These doors are the homeowner’s responsibility and should be in good condition for painting. The HOA is responsible for painting and repairs to all other exteriors.
If your patio cover needs painting, you have 3 options:
- Do it yourself (DIY); HOA will provide paint.
- Hire a Licensed painting contractor; HOA will provide your contractor with paint.
- Contact the Property Management Company (909-444-7655) to arrange for their painters to do it during the project. The company representative will contact you with a price. DO NOT contact painters on site.
We understand this is a stressful process but if we all cooperate; we can get through this again. This project not only protects our investments, it increases property values.
